They have plenty of openings for EV exhibitors, arrive between 9:30 and 10:30, stay till 4, then Clean Cruise Woodward. My wife and I will be there with the Mach-E and the Lightning.
Ford stated this in their Q2 earnings release.

The Explorer EV is a VW. Ford stated it would not come to the US. If they change their minds, it is still a VW. And it is much smaller than ICE Explorer.
Yup. Crap dealers are crap dealers. In spring 2023 when I was looking for a 2022 mannequin, a bunch of dealers still had ridiculous markups. I kept a list. They won't ever get my business and some got bad Google reviews.
A Tesla DESTINATION charger requires a different adapter than a Tesla SUPERCHARGER. BOTH types of chargers can be set to TESLA-ONLY. If they are, no adapter you can buy will work.
The San Filipe Marina Resort has an 18kW Tesla DESTINATION charger. According to PlugShare, non-Tesla vehicles...
CSPs and TSBs are not recalls.
Yes, a well-informed buyer of your used vehicle may find the recall, but it is a free repair for them.
Ford is more annoyed with recalls then you or I will ever be, being ranked #1 in recalls, by far, is a stain on their stock... And on Farley's record.
The service manager is an idiot.
Recalls are safety related, CSPs are not.
What you want to do they cannot do - swapping parts. They MIGHT be able to put in the new GSM, with you giving the old one back to them to ship back to Ford. And they give you the rotary one back.
The problem is that much of the Tesla network has been around for a while. In New Orleans, there are 2 chargers in town, both old 150kW, and one northeast of town, that is the same. 150kW chargers cannot communicate with CCS.
Tesla has been updating locations, surely on a need-basis. Given...
Let me rephrase then. I've read the stuff that Ford published about you, and it's clear that you want to experience the good, and the bad, that customers do when charging. No idea whether this is part of your job, or just of interest to you, but clearly you are on the road a lot doing this...
And the fact that you work for Ford doesn't influence your charging decision?
Also, many people have a trip where they're heading from point A to point B. That's very different from a trip where the trip is the adventure, i.e. towing a trailer, let's drive XXX miles a day or so, and see stuff...
Yeah, I've been surprised at the number of people that charge at dealerships. If you take out the "it's my dealer, and they told me to charge their for free" people, it drops dramatically.
I think it's vital that dealerships add fast chargers (fast meaning 120kW or higher) in many areas...
Looks like brand new location. Not in PlugShare. Likely discouraging use for now.
There are 250,000 charging ports in the US. PlugShare is where to post about them. You can even add a location and post the outrageous fees.
