The manuals should be referenced for the settings, adjustments and torques. Alignment systems have most of the data built in so it may not be a problem if they've updated the software to include the lightning.
I don't want someone just guessing. Are you familiar with all of the possible...
The state of the industry is abysmal, if you have a reputable shop then sure but they are few and far between. The f150 rear suspension is different than most trucks and slightly different than most cars. The concepts are still the same.
All depends on the depth of the work. Just tweaking...
Exactly, this is why mounting electronics on your ceiling is a terrible idea.
These devices are designed with clearances to allow proper ventilation and they're also designed for the heat to travel up and away while mounted normally. When you put them upside down on a ceiling you are asking...
I have no issues with the current configuration. The buttons are all easily accessible on the steering wheel to configure it and there is a purpose to all of the functions.
I also think the driver aids work great at keeping distance and keeping the lane. Bluecruise works great too...
Glad you survived! A testament to modern engineering and safety standards. I especially like how the doors have deformed, spreading the impact forces away from the driver. With any luck the surviving parts will be used to keep other lightnings on the road.
Get well soon!
I was getting 120kw pretty quickly. Allegedly it only kicks in the last 30km or so and temps/speed/soc will also factor into that. Allegedly, the charger also has to be selected as a waypoint of your trip. There is no cooling mode, allegedly.
If you're only getting 40kw it's something...
Well, this is interesting. I see that it's optional on pro, xlt and flash but the Canadian website shows it's standard on Lariat and platinum.
I guess we just don't get as many options. However, I wouldn't want one without it.
Can you elaborate on the year model and color you're talking about? I haven't seen any lightnings without propower and Ford has little mention of any changes like you describe.
