Just look for the evse's temp rating. I have successfully used 110v charging at around - 10degc. It was getting around 1% per hour. I use it while on the road to give me an added buffer at more remote locations.
I doubt that a wheel off would bend the frame. Even if it did, it's unlikely to change the door gaps. That's the advantage of having a body on frame. Also, frames flex under normal operation.
Ah, I see.
You'll have to try it out but it will squat with that much weight back that far.
It also might upset the trailer balance with the weight distribution.
I would look into the house wiring and connections. If you're using the evse with a plug then have a real good look at that too. If the problem is in the truck then it's a strange one.
You may want to rethink your setup.
RECREATIONALLY TOWING

No, it's not always a battery module.
It's a general fault that the dealer can analyze to pinpoint the problem.
It could be a battery, or software, or module, or drives system.
Don't panic, it sometimes comes up due to glitches too.
Have your dealer check it out, if it is a battery module...
I have never dealt with any shop anywhere that says just drop it and we'll get to it eventually.
Whenever I've had a vehicle scheduled for service, again, at any shop anywhere I've been, it gets looked at that day or the next at latest if it's really busy.
Your dealer is unorganized and...
It's more expensive than others so I won't be using them if I don't have to.
As far as the op goes, good luck actually getting a product from dodge, Ram, whatever you want to call them. They just don't have the audience. Their target demo is cheap ice trucks.
Heavy. This truck will have to be registered commercial in some jurisdictions. However, the epa range is higher so that will be the selling point. Interesting to see if it actually gets the range under real world conditions. Good to see real competition in the market finally.
Can confirm that dealer advertising lines for 2024 Lariat say : "level 2 charge speed 11.5kw". That is 48amps. That is what I use and have found it to be the sweet spot.
I wonder if they will use the dual charger setup for fleet as they would be the most likely customer for fastest 240v charging?
