I can confirm that the reading lights do self extinguish after a few minutes there is no worry to your battery.
They come back on when the door is opened or with proximity if you have the welcome lighting on. I have disabled the welcome lighting on mine.
I'm almost positive that the lights will all go out after a few (maybe 15) minutes to prevent the 12v battery from getting run down.
Almost, some testing is required.
Personally, I think all ev owners should have at minimum a level 1 portable charger for emergency use.
I got a good deal on the ford mobile cord and keep it in the truck at all times. I use the 120v part to top up when in more remote areas and I use the 240v part to charge at my parents place...
Unfortunately you dealt with a moron at the service Ontario.
I would go back in to the exact location and show the aforementioned moron the Ontario.ca website that lists the eligible vehicles for green plates. Surprise! It's listed ...
Don't be so paranoid, there is a staggering amount of debris on the roads.
If someone was trying to send a message then it would be way more destructive and clear that you were targeted.
And yes, boxes of nails do fall out of work trucks. I have seen and I'm sure most people who've driven a...
Crew cab, 8' bed? There is no one size fits all "work truck". I use my lightning as a work truck. Tools in the frunk, in the bed, air compressor runs off propower, it's efficient and I can do my service call area on a full charge. My previous ice f150 was nearly identical except no power and...
There have been some similar problems posted here.
First, clear all the saved charging points and try again. If that doesn't work then the dealer will have to diagnose the problem. Probably a bad charger.
Yes, once you place an order, you then register online for the included FCSP and then they send it to you in the mail. The catch is that if you unbox it and don't take delivery of the truck you have to pay full price for it.
The nice thing was that I had my evse in hand the day I took delivery...
Just show your dumb salesman the Ford.ca website where it specifically says that the charge station pro isincluded with ER xlt.
The evse will then be shipped to you after you order.
The mobile power cord is not included.
Who is your dealer?
It's not really a seat problem.
The "vibration" is most likely from your clothes/body pressed up against the ventilation. I have experience it before with wet clothes.
Ya, I found my stock Lariat rims were tough to clean so went with the more open spokes this time. My previous f150, I had Ford steel rims that didn't hold as much ice but they were only 17".
I'm looking at winter tires now, they aren't cheap at 20" though. Over $250 USD per.
Just picked up a set of rims for winter with same rating, we'll see how it works out. It's a little tight for my liking but the price was right. All the best!
