Hmm... when I connect to it when the truck is powered off though, it says no ECU connection and data values don't seem to update.
I see some switched connectors I can get, so at least if I want the adapter on/off it would save on wear and tear by not requiring plugging it in/unplugging it.
I used Torque on android. It has a decent amount of information. Forscan can go a bit deeper. Also, A better route planner can work with OBD2 data for better routing and planning.
The only issue with all of this though is....I left my adapter plugged in for a single night, and I got errors...
I got the update one night, then the first time I drove it, I had the weird primitive version of the sounds, and it was saying tailgate ajar... I hadn't opened or closed the tailgate in a while, so I figured hmm, at this stop sign in my neighborhood, I should just cycle it. SLAM... what? I get...
So you think it's worth the price then? Was it a night and day difference? I came from a model 3, and though I am no audiophile, I am pretty disappointed with the audio experience in my Lariat SR.
Another question... So it's got a dial that controls the bass power, but now in the car...
One good route they could take is even if it is engineered from the ground up internally as an EV, the bed and cab could remain completely the same spec as the ICE F150. If they are going for a changed aero profile then the windshield, dash, etc would probably have to be different though.
Yeah, I feel like mine is made of leather and I can't get it wet. I've got the light bar water intrusion issue already, hoping I don't end up with the dead frunk too.
27kwh in my backup system power my house for 40 hours of average use (and that's with solar panels completely covered up), I can't even imagine having 100kwh
This is true that to get the equivalent KWh you'd need to pay that much, but not many people are going to need 100kwh of backup power. If there's an outage you're gonna unplug things, turn off things, and simply not use things. In outages, even still using my computer and network equipment...
Any aero increase would probably be negated by the added weight. I think at very least we should be happy if it is a wash, as having a covered bed that you can use for more than just dirt or something, is very worth it.
When I took mine to service to get the mightbar looked at...The looks of disgust and annoyance and the way I was treated at the service department....the absolute hatred in their voices when they talked to anyone on the phone... did I make a bad choice switching from a Tesla to a Ford? Maybe...
No anxiety here from SR. I go out for a whole day doing errands all around town, and get home with enough % that I could go out and do it all again and still make it home.
