This right here... Start the truck and there's a hundred "DOO DOO DOO"s... I ignore them... and I end up driving down the road with my charge port door open.
Ford scratched a small mostly unnoticeable spot on some window trim in transit, but they don't have the part yet, and there's water in my tailgate light bar. I need to start going through my local Ford for stuff like this, instead of the place I had to buy it. My local Ford is 4 miles away...
I was gonna say, my experience with Tesla service was absolute trash, mostly. They did nothing with the info I provided the day of the error I got, and then by the time they had a service appointment a week later, they said the error was "too old" and they couldn't get any information about it...
The temperature management only being on the bottom edge of each cell is kind of surprising. I wonder if this contributes to the slower charge speed of these packs.
Came from a 2018 model 3, and I gotta say blue cruise hands free is better all around for me. TACC is better too. I constantly had TACC on my tesla slam the brakes. The slightest movement from a vehicle around me would trigger it.
My dealer sent pictures to Ford. They said the part will likely be ordered once Ford gives the OK to do so. Who knows. Even if they get it delivered right away, they are already booking service visits into late January.
Alexa app with fordpass skill, Tasker and autovoice can probably do this too. I'll try later and see. I tried Alexa on my phone, it locks the truck without asking for the pin. So autovoice should work from Tasker. Just gotta get the trigger set up, on disconnect from the truck's Bluetooth...
Wish they would allow for additional things to be pinned where alexa button is. Tesla allows certain items to be pinned. I'd pin camera and drive mode for sure.
Yep, they absolutely work in 1-pedal mode. Maybe there's a bug OP encountered in their instance, but I check all the time to see if they come on when I reduce the pedal for slowing, and I have never seen them not come on.
This is now a safety issue... Can't have something that looks like a brake light randomly flashing while driving. What's annoying is, my dealer won't entertain the idea of ordering the part before seeing it.
When this happens to me, I just press and hold Vol- and Next song until the screen reboots. It will connect after that for me every time. It tends to dislike me getting in and out of the truck at various stops while my wife waits inside with the dogs. In the future we are going to get her...
