I just think EA needs to only allow the free charging plans for the manufacturers that have them, to only be up to 80% free, then any charging above that level is full price. Every time I see someone hogging a station to 100%, it's a free session. If they only made 0-80% free, then the...
Right, it seems to add up to a reasonable amount, but not sure about the $50 added on to the second year of it...but, I'd like to see them switch to this for everyone and eliminate the gas tax entirely. The whining about it will be epic. There's always some joker with a weird situation that...
Model 3's have this issue as well but it was much worse. I used kool-it to clean its insides. With my truck, I always turn off the AC a couple minutes from home, or I let it run in my garage while unloading, with the AC button toggled off.
100% agree with you there.
As for the adapter, I wish they had just left a little opening for a locking pin. I have a slow charging adapter that has a hole through the unlock mechanism, and I found a small combination lock that works with it. Would it stop someone determined? -no. But if...
Tried out my lectron today, at 53% it started off at 160kw and tapered down, didn't precondition or anything. I plugged the adapter in first, so when I got the Tesla plug and hooked it up, it really felt just like supercharging my model 3.
I did find a teardown online that showed it is just a button and two wires. Even so, Lectron's steps are reversed from A2Z's instructions...it doesn't seem to matter if the switch closing/opening happens while the car is present vs not.
Totally get it.
Just FYI though, windows media player has a setting that will auto rip any CD you put in your drive in your computer. You can set it for file type and bitrate, and basically just put a CD in, wait till its done, swap it out for the next one.
Besides all the thousands of...
For every post I saw about that, it seemed there were others chiming in saying charging at 100 degrees with theirs was fine, so who knows? If I ever need to use it in very hot weather I will do the wet towel trick like I used to with my model 3 at superchargers. I think it's going to be fine.
In case anyone wants Lectron instead, I ordered the Lectron Vortex for 180 with code stateofcharge. I already have a lectron level 2 charger adapter that I have used a bunch of times. I figure the only negatives anyone has mentioned were that it was snug. I have a J1772->tesla adapter I keep...
There are a lot of apps that will work with android auto that don't require a home server or an active internet connection, just have the mp3's on your phone storage. I use AIMP, and I can load up music by folder or by artist name.
As for OP, I totally understand owning physical media, but...
Yep, if you see clear liquid it is almost always condensation. The fluid in the cooling system is neon yellow, and the lubricant in the motors is blood red.
I think if there's no new shipments right around september 1st I am just going to order the Lectron. I have a trip midmonth that I basically HAVE to have it for.
I was surprised how small it is when I passed one on foot last week, and on the road again on monday. Combine that with the tiny frunk I don't really see why you'd choose it over any other truck on the market, even if you disregard price.
