I have a U2100 code on my DSM after I rolled back the software on it to fix the running board motors extended buzzing problem and the issue where the boards get stuck in a loop going in and out until I restarted my truck. However, I would rather have the soft code than the actual problem, so I...
Sounds like maybe just a glitch in the matrix. My truck defaults to "myview" every time I start it and it has done that for a very long time. There is no known fix for that AFAIK.
@astrand1 Did that change fix the
This is what Ford shows for you:
So you need to change the D to an F to get cameras at speed working.
Also, this value:

That is always a 4. I am not sure what "DSMC type" is, but that is always a 4 in as far as I can remember.
Not everything you see there will do anything. Classic Speedo is for the 7G Mustangs. The config is shared across different vehicle platforms. However, if the classic speedo is not programmed into the IPC, then enabling the option for it to work won't go anything. It's agree to try things, but...
A 4 there was disabling KDA and some frunk function..... can't remember what exactly. A 4 there is correct for ICE trucks, but the Lightnings I though required an E there.
I am confident the IPMA does not need to be replaced, but I digress.
The money I'd save them in unnecessary warranty claims like this one would pay my salary and then some.
In most cases where the config for cameras gets wiped, if is just the xxxF xxxx xx-- that gets changed. However, the other two locations I have seen get changed, too, so I provided him with everything relevant to cameras at speed working in case it is needed. I know I have his VIN, but I...

Edit: Btw, I think the changes I sent you to enable BC 1.4 a while back ago contained an error. While you're in there, check this setting in the APIM and if it is a 4, change it to an E:

I have access to all the tools Ford techs have. The difference is, I (and a few other forum members here and other forums) have unique knowledge as to how these things work and what to look for when things go wrong. @KHines is dead on when he says these guys are not software engineers. The...
@htobin I got your message. It seems like the mobile tech tried to update the IPMA and FDRS crashed in the process. Hard to tell exactly what happened from what I can see, but for sure the IPMA is bricked. Now at the dealer, they have tried to update the IPMA, but that isn't going to work. If...
That and I try the lane keep calibration, too. I did it with FDRS and FDRS specifically told me not to adjust the wheel arch height, but I did it anyway and it calibrated just fine.
If the mobile tech messed something up while doing the updates, the dealer techs themselves may not be able to fix it themselves and may be working with Ford engineers to determine what happened and what the fix is. Asking for "immediate attention and updates" is not a reasonable ask. Negligent...
Return it. HammaMan put it through the motions, and he has above average knowledge of module programming. I just picked up a used Mongoose to add to my loaner program for $320 shipped.
Load Factory AB will pull the data Ford has for your truck and flash that. If the changes you made got synced up to the server, then it may put some of the FORScan changes you made back on the APIM. You can use FORScan to enable and disable chimes, but you can't force them to come out of...
