Got your message. As much as an advocate as I am for the Mongoose, your truck is almost completely up to date. You would have very little to gain from it. You have the latest Sync software and you have the IPMA software for BC 1.4 already, too.
FORScan would be of benefit for you to enabled...
True. Like the changes we were using here to enable the APIM toggles for the new BC features were disabling KDA on the Lightnings until you caught it. lol
Correct. The way it is coded in the IPMA, there is no way circumvent the trailer requirement. The changes are in the common tab of the FORScan spreadsheet, but the IPMA has to be at a certain level for it to work.
If you make the changes and it does not work, then the IPMA needs to be...
2024 Lightnings have newer CCM software than any other F150. If anyone has better ACC, it's you guys.
Well, and me, because I'm running the same CCM software that you have in my 2021 F150 via unconventional methods.. Tbh, I noticed no improvement at all with the newer CCM software.
Yea, but you know how that goes. Forget it and you get it when you get it. lol
The changes to enable the WAL are posted publicly and no secret, but message me when you're ready and I will provide you the changes needed for the BC goodies.
Tech notes from December saw that there was no IPMA update showing in FDRS at that time, so they did not update anything. It was the recall for the parking sensors which require the IPMA to be updated, but since it was updated, all they did was configure the IPMA which most likely did nothing...
The dealer has no way to enable the BC 1.4 features. Ford engineers would need to add a script to FDRS for them to do it. The only thing you have to wait for is for Amazon to bring you the cable needed for FORScan. Taking it to the dealer for what you want to accomplish is a glorious waste of...
You can get started if you want. If you show any GWM, APIM, TCU and/or IPC, those are done with a USB drive with the car turned on. FDRS put the files in the USB and then you follow the directions to do them. All the other modules will be done with the cable with the vehicle off and...
Ah yea......I remember that now. I'm not sure if that issue causes any real world problems, but this is a misconfiguration in the APIM and not related to this. This happens after an certain APIM update on the Lightnings; don't remember which is the one that caused it.
This would be done with FORScan....not FDRS. If you have it, I can walk you through it easily.
Well, his APIM is updated to the equivalent of 10.1.0, so the config would need to be fixed manually. I don't know what needs to be done to fix that by memory like I do the camera image size issue...
Got your message, and you do show a 2 there:
Your truck is on the latest Sync and IPMA software. It is actually very close to being fully up to date. I don't have a Lightning, so not sure if 22-23 trucks are supposed to have those buttons there or not like his truck does, but if your truck is...
Totally stealing this.
This can easily be fixed with FORScan in minutes. Message me the VIN. You most likely have a 2 in this location. Changing that 2 to a 3 for "stretch" will fix the small 360 cam view you have.
