The beautiful thing about this $40 rain sensor mod, is should you choose to not use it for whatever reason (and want to go back to normal, temporarily) you just deselect rain sensing in the Settings/Wiper menu.
That's an awesome idea. Imagine the agricultural and fleet applications!
Hopefully battery costs come down so they can get back to making sub-$40k EVs.
If no one beats me to it I will. I'm also installing new speakers so I will be doing a bit more disassembly than some others.

A neighbor bought one. She really wanted a Lightning and asked if she could drive mine. She offered for me to drive hers, I declined but she insisted, so of course I did. (She decided she would've preferred a Lightning but she wasn't invited before her Rivian came available)

Yes, I installed the switch. The lights go on with ZL, no switch press needed. The switch works independently and the lights fade off when pressed to turn off.
