  3. Best home charger CANADA.

I would buy one of these 48a hard-wired. https://grizzl-e.com/ca/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA1eO7BhATEiwAm0Ee-I8Pqwv9Bg_ZUXCI86_j2IxUM-xDUIB105TMEBHtpjNXi0jw8M9FmBoCNlsQAvD_BwE I would also look for a portable unit that has selectable current at 240v. 120v charging is fairly useless but is...
  4. Bad towing experience and other issues

New user who tried to hit every talking point. The guy didn't even know he had a $500 deductible. He got $39k for a used xlt SR, that's actually pretty good. I think he'll be quite happy with his flash.
  5. Honda Ridgeline to Lightning...maybe.

The ridgeline is a car. I was so disappointed when honda took a great product and downsized it into a cuv with a box. You can't compare it to a half ton, no matter the drive type. The lightning is miles ahead of the ridgeline in all aspects.
  6. Lightning ER vs Hummer 2X, HorsePower and Torque stats

The lightning has over 7500 ft lbs of torque. These numbers are achieved by taking the motor torque and multiplying by the gear ratio of the drive. Misleading, yes, big numbers gooder.
  7. No news must be good news.

That is with the $17/month membership. The pricing also varies by location AND by time of day. Tesla is by far the most expensive of all the options.
  8. Target Charge Setting has a mind of its own, where does the setting come from

Jan 1, 2024, my app reset itself and stopped charging. I plugged in after midnight this year, no issue.
  9. The Hits (Recalls) Just Keep On Coming

"Dealers will perform a battery energy control module software update and replace the high voltage battery pack, as necessary, for free, the auto safety regulator said." Same thing that the lightning's went through a while back.
  10. Headlight Taillight Wiring Mystery

Ya, these aren't like the older, configurable f250s. That's okay though, you should be able to find wiring diagrams in the pay for use service manuals. Should.
  11. No news must be good news.

65k km's on mine now with no major problems. Minor problems have been: 1)Right rear wheel speed sensor wiring was damaged(replaced under warranty) 2)Window switch module replacement due to stuck down rear pax window(common f150 problem). 3)running board light had condensation in it. (running...
  12. Would a 6 1/2' bed work on the Lightning?

    The only 2 with the same wheelbase is the supercab(I call this the 3 door) 6.5 and supercrew 5.5. Regular Cab/6.5-Foot Bed: Length – 209.1 inches / Wheelbase – 122.8 inches Regular Cab/8.0-Foot Bed: Length – 227.7 inches / Wheelbase – 141.5 inches SuperCab/6.5-Foot Bed: Length – 231.7 inches...
  13. 2024 Lightning XLT "build & price" AND window sticker both say it's included - it's not: What now?

Take this to ford. They should fix it up with a credit. If not, return the truck and get one that has the option. It seems they pulled the mention from the USA site but the Canadian site mentions it. I'm assuming it was a rehash from the 2023 literature that was missed.
  14. Ford pro charging install

Unless you have access to the fleet options which still had it as an option.
  15. Why isn’t the Lightning getting more of the gas F150 market?

People are cheap, stupid and don't like change. Mostly because people aren't spending big bucks on vehicles regardless of drivetrain. Dodge rams don't sell because they're reliable or well built, they sell because it's the cheapest option for a truck. So many people were on the fence...
  16. Would you give up your Frunk for more range?

    Blocked and reported.?
  17. What do you keep in your sub-frunk?

As a winter dweller, I keep emergency use items in there. I don't like to scrape all the snow off the hood so I don't use the frunk as much. Jump pack is inside the truck to stay warm.
  18. Shift-System Fault while driving

The shifter has been a problem with several trucks. It's usually fixed with a shifter replacement.
  19. Slight vibration on smooth roads in new Platinum

Why did you put a more agressive tread on and then expect a smoother ride? I started with the grabbers on my Lariat, 20inch, and they were the best for on road and a little gravel. Super quiet and smooth. I put on falken wildpeaks and now it's loud and isn't great on the highway. But, the...
  20. Slight vibration on smooth roads in new Platinum

Are they the at or ht? There have been a few reports of various speed sensitive vibrations. Nobody has really quantified anything yet. Could be several causes. Loose parts asentioned above are of concern.
