  1. Charging to 100%

Everybody needs to read the owners manual.
  2. My Ford Pass Patience Is Wearing Thin

Must be apple users. My android app has worked pretty well other than the odd outage. It can be buggy at times but find me software that isn't. If you have legitimate problems with fordpass then send in a report. If you did actually write code for 54 years then you would have figured out...
  3. How To Adjust Stock Headlight Beam Height

Yes, there is a reason that vehicles are designed the way they are. Suspension geometry is important. When you modify a vehicle because you think it looks good then it's vanity. We've all done it at some point. I'm not here to knock your choices. You've got your reasons just make sure your...
  4. How To Adjust Stock Headlight Beam Height

I use my truck as a truck and prefer to have the rake to account for loads in the box or trailering. Ideally we'd just have airbags to set the ride height. Leveling and lift kits are mostly vanity items and of course the manufacturers are going to get in on the sales. Personally I just...
  5. How To Adjust Stock Headlight Beam Height

You'll never stop people from wrecking the engineering over perceived looks. As long as you don't drive around blinding people afterwards.
  6. Dangerous Unexpected Adaptive Cruise Control Behavior - Sudden Braking Following "RESUME CONTROL" Message

I use the adaptive cruise control everyday, on all types of roads. I've never had the braking come on. The truck prompts you to keep watch or keep hands on wheel. When it prompts you should take action. Also, if you lose road markings the truck will cancel lane centering without braking...
  7. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

Same one I have. If it's the Tesla side then try moving the lock switch while inserting the plug. There were reports of tem being tight.
  8. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

I used mine last week for the first time and it was easy. There are 2 variants though, which one do you have?
  9. Charging 120v Question / Issue?

Most extension cords these days are junk. More connections and thinner wires=magic smoke.
  10. Ford EV Trucks still eligible for IRS tax credit in 2025.

And there it is, don't know why i didn't see that exclusion before. All of the other stipulations were laid out clearly. Regardless, it is unlikely that it will make a big dent as we start the year, hopefully Ford will get approved for it again before the spring sales start. Glad I didn't...
  11. Ford EV Trucks still eligible for IRS tax credit in 2025.

Some key information lacking here. The tax credit has 2 parts, the threshold for one part is changing in 2025 but not the other part. If that was the case then half of the credit would still apply. With the main header of this communication missing its impossible to tell if it's real or not.
  12. Cooking in my flash while hiking!

    Good question.
  13. Check and verify your tire pressure.

It still fluctuates, just a little less. All of the aircraft I have worked on use nitrogen. The reason being the immense heat differential from cold to touchdown. We still need to adjust it for colder or warmer ambiant temps. I live in a place where the summer temps can be 30degC+ and the...
  14. Cooking in my flash while hiking!

I was thinking the other day on a longer trip that I should have brought a microwave to heat up my leftovers while waiting to charge.
  15. Dealer cannot install Trailer Brake Controller on 2024 PRO Standard Range

Not incompetent, it's intentional. All manufacturers don't want to waste time and money customizing every single vehicle.
  16. Dealer cannot install Trailer Brake Controller on 2024 PRO Standard Range

It's possible the harness isn't complete all the way back in trucks without the tow tech package. They probably only have a four pin.
  17. Dealer cannot install Trailer Brake Controller on 2024 PRO Standard Range

Install an aftermarket trailer brake controller? There's tons of options out there.
  18. FCSP just breaks after almost 3 years? Need help

Unfortunately it's now only a fleet option essentially. They figure 48a is the sweet spot.
  19. P160A DTC in PCM - how to fix/clear?

Go back to the original as built.
  20. Proximity sensors being covered by snow / ice and setting off false warnings

That's the solution. The sensors only engage at slower speeds so it's not a big deal most of the time. Mine are covered all the time up here in the great white north. I don't even bother clearing them. The worst is freezing rain, when you have pure water ice on them they become extra...
