  1. Best charging pattern to use

Get a 220v evse. Ford says keep it below 90% Ford says keep it at 50% for storage longer than 30 days. Rule of thumb is to keep it above 20%.
  2. Using 240V extension cord with mobile charger?

Get an electrician out to run you a 14-50r circuit.
  3. Lemon/buyback and Pro Trim

Ya never know but a lot of them were just delays for parts, people were also caught off guard somehow by the price and had to find excuses to return the trucks. There were also people threatening lemon/buyback for mundane convenience items. I'd go one step further to say that a lemon/buyback...
  4. Camper tank heating pads for battery pack?

As long as you're plugged into 220v the truck does this automatically. Preconditioning then brings it up higher to the "ideal" temp for range.
  5. Installed FCSP, Generator Inlet, MTS, Subpanel, Conduit, and my entire body hurts.

It's a stove outlet so I would hope it's capable of running a stove for hours. Edit: after reviewing the specs from leviton, the 4x cost of the "EV" outlet is merely for the promise of handling repeated insertions. Their ev outlet also has a slightly poorer fire rating. You'd have to do a...
  6. Missing 'Energy' Tab in App, Can't Start Charging

In the truck, there are settings to turn the connectivity off and on. I would maybe try those settings, turn off then back on.
  7. Battery won’t charge beyond 72%

Sounds like the dealer didn't have all the necessary tooling and info to perform a module swap but did anyway. Of the many module swaps talked about here, you're the only one to mention this extended balancing, "relearning" as they called it.
  8. I love this truck but GD!

Dude, you need that 220v hookup asap. The value of preconditioning can't be understated.
  9. Missing 'Energy' Tab in App, Can't Start Charging

What phone and os is it? Is your connectivity turned on? Do you have Paak?
  10. Ford Charge Station Pro vs. Tesla Universal Wall Connector

Ya, i didn't think of that, mines been set at 48a since day one and I wouldn't need anything higher. I'm guessing Ford knows that too, hence dropping the 2nd charger for most of the new trucks. I would just buy another 48a unit, my house panel is maxed now anyways.
  11. Propulsion sound?

Ride the lightning by Metallica would be my pick.
  12. Charge Station EV conversion to $4.50 per gallon @18mpg

Oh ya, all the time. I find it amazing my full size lightning is twice as efficient as a shit box SUV. However, we also get people saying that the lightning isn't as efficient as a model 3 without realizing one is a huge truck and the other a compact.
  13. Preparing unscheduled?!?

The servers seemed to be slow and unresponsive last weekend.
  14. Charge Station EV conversion to $4.50 per gallon @18mpg

I guess it depends on your location and fuel prices. In Canada it costs me half as much to use my f150 lightning as it does my cx-5 on a road trip. Overall I've cut my fuel cost to a 1/4 of what my old f150 2.7l was using.
  15. Tesla Cybertruck crash

Oil and other flammable materials most likely.
  16. Accidental cold soak -7

Not much. It happens but hasn't been a problem. I've cold soaked mine once for 3 days at - 25degc, no issues. I also sit at work for 8 hours a day in the winter with no issues. In the winter I stay plugged in at home and have a departure time set every morning. The truck and battery are...
  17. Accidental cold soak -7

That's generally a cold battery. You will see less power restriction at a higher soc. When you are plugged in to 220v the temp will be on the line, when you set a departure time it will heat the battery further to optimize range but it's still on the line. I wish it would heat on 110v as then...
