This has been massively discussed here. The PPO will turn off in six minutes unless there is a noticable load. One person did quite a bit of testing about found that a 100 watt load for a couple seconds every five minutes was enough to keep the PPO on.
So far I have also had the truck lose the correct time. I noticed it because the charge did not start at 2100 as schedule for home, so I manually started it. The next day I noticed that the clock was off by a bunch of hours. Reset the time, and all worked fine after that.
Has nothing to do with the FCSP - it will still handle 80 amps. The 2024 and later Lightnings only have one 48 amp charger built in. And yes, as already speculated for most customers, the 10KW or so rate is plenty at home. For me, it certainly is.
As for adding the second charger, I'm sure...
AGM batteries can be tested, but a simple load tester is not the best. At work where we have many hundreds of 180 AH 12V AGM batteries, we use a conductivity tester. Very accurate, but it's a $7K box to do it.
I assume you mean in watts, so again assuming you taking that off the 12 volt battery, that will come up to almost 100 amps. Off hand, I can see that being an issue with trying to draw that much power on a somewhat ongoing basis from the little 12 volt LVB. Or as you planning on some other way...
I had one of the portable Lithium jump start batteries in my ICE pickup. It's now in the Lightning. Used it twice a couple weeks ago (a few days apart) on two different ICE vehicles. But it's available if the Lightning 12V battery needs help...
I could wish for that long. I fully admit that my electrical consumption is well above average - for a variety of reasons. I just looked, yesterday my total consumption for the day was 80.35 KWH and my solar generated 40.25 KWH. It's pretty hot and did not cool off overnight, so a fairly...
Since you mentioned this was an iOS issue, I just checked (I don't normally use my #$%^& work iPhone for this). My iPhone is FordPass version 5.23.0 and iOS version 18.6. I can not adjust P&C on the iPhone. My Android is FordPass version 5.24.0 and Android version 14. I can adjust P&C on the...
I have some serious dislikes about a lot of the way lighting works on many cars these days. In my opinion, on the rear, brake and turn should NEVER use the same bulb and the turn should be yellow. I'm OK with brake and tail light being the same bulb as many cars are with the brake much...
