Saw an R1T launch edition on a lot near my office this morning, went over lunch to look at it from the outside. Sales person approached, offered to let me drive. R1T Launch Edition, quad motor LR battery. They wanted almost $140K for it, with about 110 miles on the odometer.
Definitely an...
If you had to sign in and scan an app every time, I agree, the hassle probably isn't worth it for a quick stop. But, if you go somewhere with plug-and-play (or completely free, even better!) the two seconds it would take to plug in might add a KW or two on an L2.
My ICE F150 was our go-to road trip vehicle, mostly because my wife's Acadia had zero storage space with the third row up. Three kids fit better in the truck.
When I decided to get the Pro (and thus SR battery) I knew it was going to make road trips difficult. We ended up getting a really...
I have waffled so much on choosing Stone Gray. I think I will like it. I wanted a color that would age well, in terms of not being replaced by newer variations of the same color. I think Red cars age particularly poorly in that regard.
Seeing as my blend is Friday, no turning back now...
For those of us less picky, I put a Tyger Auto tri-fold on my 2016 F150 and it lasted 5 years without an issues. Just now had a buckle break off, but still functional. Tyger replaced the whole thing on warranty. Sub $350 on Amazon. Leaving the current one on my truck when I sell it and...
Our week appears to now be the Pro transition week too. It was originally a lot of Pros, then some lariats got pushed in and some Pros got moved to next week.
Nothing is going to rust on these trucks in the mere weeks they sit there. First, aluminum body. Second, it’s a truck, they don’t just rust at the slightest hint of moisture. Mine has had 5 years of Missouri humidity parked outdoors to no Ill effect.
For some reason I am having a hard time finding the 4/11 build week group, but here's another Vin to track @TaxmanHog. 1FTVW1EL0NWG00339
Going to Jim Trenary Ford in Moscow Mills, MO (St. Louis area). I called, it's their mannequin and they don't have it yet because of a "transportation...
Next week is our turn! I am 7 days from blend. Looks like some of the early May blends are already delivering next week, maybe we won't have to wait as long as the first groups for delivery.
Correct. Also, having an ICE XLT with only backup camera (not even any sensors or alerts) you quickly get used to parking. Use your mirrors people! I use my side-views more than my camera
Next time there's a missing person or unsolvable coldcase, I am going to enlist this forum and @TaxmanHog to solve it. Good lord this is a persistent and diligent group!
I think by the time I got my Wave 1 order in, it was 21 or 22 weeks? Which puts me at a week or two from now. Mine gets blended next Friday.
I guess what I am saying is, without all the added micro levels of tracking, if Ford told you 20 weeks and you could never get an update online in...
Keep in mind that the only reason it seems like Ford isn't delivering on their promises is because we're all hyperactively monitoring our trackers and data. Ford said first deliveries in Spring, it's still spring. I've never ordered a car direct before but I would think even 3 years ago we...
