One reason is the battery is smaller than a gas F150. The EV battery does not have/need the cranking amps (to turn over an engine) that a gas engine does. However, it does seem that the Lightning 12v battery does not always get charged properly from the High Voltage battery pack. Hopefully...

Range is not reduced much by cool nights and warmish days. It takes a while for the battery pack mass to cool down to ambient temperature. When it starts to get cold (below 35°F) at night and only warms a few degrees during the daytime is when you start to notice a reduction in range.

If you have the Global Windows activated it will also have settings in the truck's menu.

Order # 18,9xx was shipped today via Fed Ex. Delivery set for Monday. Got email notice from Ford around 10pm.

Got this update (6.14.0) today. Downloaded and installed while out for a drive. Didn't notice update at all until I put truck in Park and said update was completed. Oct 2023 build.

You can use the "Check Order Status" link at the bottom of the confirmation email that Ford sent on order day. In my case email came on Leap Day (Feb 29, 2024).

These January 2025 ship dates just don’t seem right. Must be another Ford glitch. Tesla is producing 8,000 a week. Surely Ford is getting a good share of those. Hopefully better news is around the corner.

Likely the 3 prong outlet does not have a neutral wire running to it. Not really a problem since an EVSE does not use the neutral wire. If the wire and breaker are both rated for 50 amp, then a 6-50 outlet could be easily installed in place of the dryer outlet. The 6-50 is like the 14-50...

The forms for the 2024 tax year are not published yet. It is possible the new 2024 form could require more info to reflect the changes that took effect during 2024. But I hope you are right and filing the tax credit is just as simple as years past.
