Hardwiring your EVSE is the best way to go and t is required for a 60 amp setup. Charging at 48 amp (80% of 60 amp) should give you the best home charging experience you can expect.
When choosing an EVSE one thing to consider is Smart v Dumb. Smart chargers have apps and can set their own...
You should also have the Green colored headlight indicator with a "A" in the middle on the lower left of your center screen. If you have the green indicator and toggle button, you likely did it correctly.
Not sure if there is an easy way to see past updates. However, if you did get 6.5 then 6.8 should only be a couple days away for you. 6.8 is the update that shows Battery % on main screen.
You'll know 6.8 when you get it. :)
You think Ford would send at least one adapter to Canada. That way our Northern Neighbors would have an idea of how the shipping process works.
My # is almost 19,000 (USA). No joy yet...but lots of hope.
@Bigisland Guy or @TaxmanHog , I wonder if the Title can be edited to put the "CSP" and "24B56" next to each other. Might be easier for others to find. I think this will be an active topic for a few weeks.
Something like "New CSP 24B56 parking sensor 8-30-24" may be easier to search for...
The smaller updates will often install when they are ready. The truck is not inhibited and can be driven during these installs..
The scheduled time you set is for the updates that require the truck to be un-drivable during the install process.
Not sure what they meant in original Tesla's post.
Maybe the OEM were ramping up their suppliers so as to get more parts delivered to Tesla GFNY so GFNY can assemble more adapters.......or at least keep up their production rate.
Got this one (23-PU1113-UNX-DC) today. Last update was Radio Presets (23-PU0110-RAD-PS) on 8/5/2024.
Same as @thequackenbush .....Oct 2023 Build, Lariat ER.
Must be in the same update group.
If you charge on the 30 amp campground plug it will only be at 120 volts. You won't get much charge into your truck at that rate.... maybe 1.4 kw per hour. May just as well plug a 120V EVSE into a regular outlet.
If possible, I would charge truck from the 50 amp outlet (240 volts) for a few...
Checked my spare today. It is stamped Temporary Use Only. However I did not see any speed limitations. It is a Maxxis Bravo 771 N that was designed as a spare for F150 & Lightnings. No speed limit info on the Maxxis page either.
Also the valve stem is pointed up. Still easily accessible...
Great price. Seems like this would sell quickly on Marketplace or Craigslist with local pick up.
Likely it will fit the regular F150 trucks as well (more potential customers).
Good luck and thanks for posting.
