Interesting indeed. I have 502A, Technology Package, CP360 Assist, no parking assist, and I don't have the front parking sensors.
Now I'm wondering if I was supposed to.
Actually the attention sensor that you mention is located in the A-pillar side of the door trim. The piece that covers the mirror attach bolts.
(Picture borrowed from a different thread, as I don't have this installed)
However in addition to that you also need to have the Active Park Assist...
When designing my truck I did not opt to have Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 Prep (BlueCruice Prep) installed and instead went with the Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0.
However I just received an email from Ford telling me that my truck already has all the necessary hardware installed to use BlueCruise after I...
Is that possibly where the title of the song playing is displayed on you cluster? I'm not familiar with the layout of the 8" cluster, but on the 12" it's on the bottom center, and depending on what is playing it will attempt to display other languages as closely as it can. If however it comes...
It leaves little brown dots on locations that the truck has been to. I'm not sure of the criteria that the truck uses when deciding whether or not to leave a "breadcrumb," however I have yet to see any use of it other than to spy on anyone else who uses your truck.
I just got back from a 145 mile highway round trip where I attempted to cause the Lane Centering to shut off with no warning. To the casual observer I must have appeared to have been drunk or half asleep. Bottom line, no matter how many times it yelled at me to put my hands on the wheel (both...
No. The Lane Centering will still randomly shut off with no warning. The mechanic originally tried to blame me since he said the system has a safety feature to shut off if the driver is inattentive. I however explained to him that I'm not sure how much more attentive I could have been...
Has anyone else had problems trying to purchase a lifetime (or any) license for ForScan?
When I click on the "Order Now" button I just get a screen that says "Unfortunately, due to legal constraints, we cannot ship the product to the country you have chosen."
Same.
Does anyone know if this adjustment (location, process, etc) also works for the LED fogs as well? Mine are also aimed amazingly low (they point well below the sight line of the hood, so much so that I can't even tell they are on from inside) and I don't want to tear everything off just...
Yeah, mostly it was about how I could "Big Brother" them and tell that I was being lied to. The securialert service itself seems to be working fine for me on Android.
Mine seems to be working just fine. With the main toggle ON and two set schedules, it only seems to flag a door opening during the scheduled times. Anything outside the scheduled times it ignores.
I for one think it's great!
My truck has been in the shop for about a week (still trying to figure out why lane centering shuts itself off with no warning, among other issues) and I keep getting text "updates" telling me that they are still working on it with no real additional information. I...
No luck. It doesn't seem to have any effect on lane centering, lane keeping, or the annoying hands on wheel message.
But it does keep the engine from shutting down, so ultimately it's still a victory!
Sadly... No, this is not the case.
On my way to work this morning I still got the "Hands on the wheel, dumbass!" message.
It was a beautiful dream while it lasted.
On the plus side, my truck continues to stay running at stop signs and lights with no warnings. Overall, still a win!
An interesting thought. Could we possibly be that lucky? Now I wish I had taken it for a longer test drive.
I guess I'll have to make a dinner run to the other side of the city to test that out later tonight...
