Maryland did just receive a massive influx of Lightnings - 55 at dealers not earmarked for folks by my count. Granted, mine was marked as built a day after yours and my estimated delivery date is... 9/19-9/25. So it's a mess.

Still no updates, from the dealer or Ford. Still poking around local dealers and their blend dates... One was blended October 1st and is already on the lot??

Depends on your credit so YMMV. But the best rate they had if we took the $7500 discount was 6.49%. Easy to get a better rate at a credit union. I listed some options in a previous post.

Thank you! It was totally my fault, I used the 8 digit number when I filled out that form, not the 4 digit one from the dealer. As a neurotic update, some dealers near Baltimore received trucks blended AFTER mine, so... maybe some hope?

As I understand, if it comes by rail, it probably goes to Baltimore where it's then put on a truck and sent to the appropriate dealer. Baltimore is a giant hub for everything on this coast, I almost talked my wife into getting a kei car shipped to Baltimore's port... She didn't want me to die...

I don't know if you look at the other build week threads, but "ours" has like 2-3x the number of posts that a lot of them have. This thread has basically become our own little support group.

Ugh. I need to stop. Just decided to poke on my dealer's website, and they just received a shipment of 3 new Lightning's today (an XLT, a Lariat, and a Platinum) - one built as late as 08/31. But not mine. Bummer.

Looks like I didn't put the right order number on my form (my bad, I fixed it) but I'm also in the "built" group.

This explains why @Lucky26's truck arrived as well, seems like a convoy just took a bunch of trucks to the NJ area. Excellent!

What are y’all asking the ford chat that you’re getting actual useful information? EVERY time I ask they just tell me what the tracker says, and politely remind me of the trackers existence.

I’m 540 miles… so you’re saying there’s a chance…. Really though I’m just antsy because I have to go TDY in a few weeks, I don’t want a motor pool car, and I don’t want to take my wife’s car away for 4 days. Worst case I’ll just deal with a 2015 HHR with no AC or heat ?

I don’t think so. Mine is in a similar state, but is “built” and just stuck not having been updated since September. Nor has it been shipped.

I’ll try again but the last 3 times I’ve done the Ford chat thing, they’ve been able to provide nothing other than what the online tracker says. And they always remind me about it like I don’t know if it’s existence ? It doesn’t help that my dealer is absolutely worthless.

That will fix eventually, give it a few days to resolve. Did you get the email first or did you find out checking the website?

Anyone else built but just… sitting there? Been over a week for me.
