I ended up pinging the chat, and they weren't able to give me any information that the tracker didn't have - just that it's still technically "in production" and they have no idea when it might be delivered to the dealer.
How did you get a hold of "Ford chat"? I saw the pop-up a few days ago when checking the site but haven't seen it pop up again. When I go to the service area, "where's my truck" isn't exactly an option ?
I imagine if it's a software update, and they have the patch ready to go, they are applying it to trucks on the line. Apple does this with iphones, they ship with the updated software already applied.
Did you need to add the vehicle via the VIN, or did it just show up on it's own? When I add mine via the VIN I see _two_ vehicles on my dashboard online, but only the one I added in the app.
We have the Tesla mobile charger for our Model Y, and I will say - we use it almost never, but it was worth it to us for the peace of mind, if say something were to happen with our EVSE or while visiting relatives, etc.
The minute this becomes available I'll post, because I sit in meetings all day and I'm too excited to not hit refresh every 5 minutes.
It still surprises me that 5.5 weeks ago we placed an order and Ford said "expected deliveries October" and TODAY they are still saying "expected deliveries...
