Special Service Vehicle... it's a Pro trim that Ford sells to law enforcement and related government agencies and is available for the rest of us sometimes. Has some LE goodies in it like bullet resistant seatbacks and red interior light for stakeouts.
Just looked at the Hansshow website again and there's a "Cyber Monday" sale that's still active. Code "CM22" gets you 22% off which brings the cord down to $467.22. Still spendy but better than the $599 without code.
$600 is pretty steep, but it looks like the original safety issues have been addressed. Tom's test with the Lightning and Rivian charging on the cable back to back without speed decreasing or heat issues is pretty solid. He admits that winter temps are favorable, but the cord quality still looks...
I have a 2024 SSV and this is the first I've heard of the different suspension. I test drove a Flash at dealership "x" and they were a complete junk show of a dealership, so I purchased the SSV at dealership "y" over the interwebs. I didn't drive the SSV before the purchase and it was too long...
If (big IF) I couldn't have my current 24 Pro any longer due to a complete mechanical meltdown or it was totaled, my second choice would be a used Mach-e and an inexpensive (as much as possible) used ICE F150 for "truck stuff" and towing.
I traded my MME and sold my 2001 F350 to get my...
For me, WD-40 is consistently the best model. I have tried FoF and North Nevada v2 on @Ajzride's recommendation with BP 5.0, but I get side to side drift/ping-pong with both of those models. For whatever reason, WD-40 is rock solid on my Lightning.
9 inches. Of all of the choices available on Etsy, they are the longest. Link
Linking to Etsy is treating me weird. Here is a screenshot of the maker that creates the long extenders:
I appreciate that you are currently in a lease, but there are some smoking deals right now with incentives and 0% financing. In a year from now, possibly only used Lightnings will be available, which is good and bad... Likely no incentives and finance deals but the biggest chunk of the...
Funny that my list of states that I would consider moving to when I finally get to leave WA almost completely match the F150 states. I'm still going to take my Lightning with me though.
You may have better luck asking on this thread.
Truthfully it's not that difficult to do and is actually a lttle fun. It's rewarding when you finish it and everything works.
The IPMA in the Lightning is above the driver's side left knee, not above the rearview mirror .
I'm not really following your question...
If you made your own harness to the CCM, you run the 4 new wires from the CCM to the correct pins that you add to the black plug of the IPMA that is behind...
I don't remember which color wires go to which number pins, but yes, you have the basic idea.
I think the correct wire mapping is about midway through this thread, or search my posts from last year in this thread. I ended wiring backwards and my CCM didn't show up in Forscan, I had to swap my...
I don't know which fuses power what. Check in the manual on the truck screen or downloaded from the Ford website to help narrow your search. There are a couple of different fuse locations in the truck.
