  1. No EV routing in Google maps

Yeah it works on some and not on others. You got lucky. I would play with it and try to find out how but...it does not work on my truck.
  2. Brakes

That is a lot of pad left. Easy should get you another 34k. Does your truck sit at times (like weeks months)? That level of rust on the rotors is odd even with Regen.
  3. Debate regarding braking, regen, and brake light illumination.

Right. I'm still confused as to how increased Regen proves no mechanical braking, you still regenerate while mechanical are engaged (assuming moving fast enough)
  4. Debate regarding braking, regen, and brake light illumination.

Right but different regen rates in different modes does not mean no mechanical brakes applied
  5. Qmerit install - $338 for "Permitting"

Depending on your AHJ and their fees it could be legit. For me as a homeowner (so my time filling out and delivering permit and being present for the inspection was all free) Application - $40 Rough-in inspection - $40 Final inspection - $40 Subpanel -$40 Highamp circuit - $40 So I was at 160...
  6. Footprint of 131Kwh battery vs 98 kw battery

I think @GoodSam has a tracking sheet in his signature for battery or power train failures. You could look at that data for ER vs. SR or even large module vs small module (just normalize for fewer large modules in ER vs. SR having all 9 small)
  7. Footprint of 131Kwh battery vs 98 kw battery

Of note starting in 2024 all models have a single on board charger. Unless it was a fleet model that was ordered with dual on board chargers.
  8. PSA: Use Vinyl protectants on your Lariat seat bolsters ASAP

Just making sure I read this right. The black parts of my seat are leather but the gray parts are vinyl? I have "leather" seats not active x on my 24, part way thru they switched over
  9. Footprint of 131Kwh battery vs 98 kw battery

And the modules are different inside, not just more. I forget how exactly. It's in a thread somewhere.
  10. BlueCruise Audio Muting

Never wear sunglasses or drive into the sun. It either can't see your eyes or the lines on the road. Also avoid curves and open road tolling. Not helpful but those are what trigger alerts for me. I don't think they would put a backdoor in to mute the alerts but I could be wrong
  11. Can you activate PPO without having to keep the truck "running" the whole time?

Awesome! Does that include pro power turning off if it's a low or intermittent load?
  12. How to get more AC to back when in Auto?

Anyone have any suggestion? The truck is our primary people mover. When we have 4 or 5 of us the back seat gets warm. I see some aftermarket deflectors to direct the floor level up but at least in my truck the floor level vents don't move air when in Auto mode. With a large screen the HVAC...
  13. Love the truck, but a few minor gripes that I hope they improve.

I don't think hitting the fan button in the app preconditions the battery even when plugged in. I believe the only way to precondition the battery is to be plugged in and have a departure time set. @TaxmanHog would know as he did a bunch of monitoring this past winter
  14. Charge not starting at specified time. Has anyone had this happen and know how to fix it?

This is why I don't let the truck schedule. The truck is set to always charge, the EVSE is set to TOU window and have not had an issue. As long as the truck is plugged in it is charged in the morning...
  15. 40 amp charging on 8 awg copper.

Yeah if it's not tripping leave it as is since the wire and outlet are good to 50. If you get nuisance tripping then ask a Canadian electrician about up sizing or local inspector if you have one like US permits require
  16. 40 amp charging on 8 awg copper.

Right. Using NEC rules the wire would be ok to 55amps but the outlet and breaker would only be rated for 75 degrees C, which would mean one would need to use the 75 C column as the breaker or outlet are only rated to allow the copper to get to 75C. I don't know enough about Canadian rules to...
  17. 40 amp charging on 8 awg copper.

No. The ampacity of 8 AWG depends on the insulation type. If you use an insulation type from column 2 or 3 you are good to go at 50 amp, assuming conduit fill and voltage drop are not a problem.
  18. 40 amp charging on 8 awg copper.

Alright...first I am not an electrician so I am not 100% up on NEC and it seems like OP is in Canada so code things can be different. I am an electrical engineer and do size wires. 8 awg is fine for a 50 amp circuit. The issue is what type of wire insulation. NM-B. AKA Romex. Because the...
  19. Will truck cool the battery at any time if I set a schedule in the charger itself?

SOC was not causing it to charge out of window. It occured when I was at 72 going to 80, with a 48 amp charger 7 hours should be plenty of time. So I stopped using the truck scheduling after it did this a few times. The data from my EVSE does not show providing the truck any energy, yet the...
