I have no issues if the older year models can't get the upgrade because of hardware changes. That happens and is part of life. I just hope Ford is clear on the communications of that and doesn't leave us all sitting around waiting for something that will never happen.

Well - the Lighting is on it's 4th model year without any real refresh - heck you could argue that later years were lesser in some ways than the 22's. Ford did delay the T3, so I am worried that they will cancel it altogether. I guess time will tell.

Random thought, if the dealer can't get mine fixed how stupid of an idea would it be to just cover the roof and sunroof with a single large piece of paint protection film? I wouldn't be able to open it (not planning to anyways), but it should stop any leak!

I will be honest, ever since charging got added to google maps nav, I don't even think about using the built in nav. For longer trips I use ABRP and google maps to go from charger to charger. For shorter trips, I let google add one if it thinks it needs one.

The range is nice, but the lack of car play / android auto is a deal breaker for me. My Lightning already go further than my bladder anyways - and the Chevy is slower!
