Looking through the gen14 thread there was mention of a rear aux 12v battery... our lightning's don't have that right?
And did you get the whole new SCCM or just the clockspring? I guess I'll take your lead and disassembly multiple times and I can figure out what parts my XLT actually has in it.
I decided not to do this because the transponder is those larger, older styles and I felt the minimal savings (for me) was worth having a smaller transponder on my windshield.
Truck since August in Upstate NY, just got the error for the first time on Saturday. We drove ~5 miles and then went for a hike for an hour or so, on driving back going ~60mph saw it pop up after a few minutes. It was almost 50F I think, sunny.
My FIL has a vinyl sign business, so he made me some vinyl stickers to cover the 'husky' logo on the winter/rubber mats. It matches the side badges on the trucks.
No.
Ford has multiple tiers of driver assists, and IMO it is a little confusing to someone initially learning about it. There's Copilot 360 (all of these are version 2.0), C360 Assist, Assist plus (which I think adds only 'intelligent acc') and C360 Active (this last one is blue cruise). Assist...
I'm investigating doing this for my 22 XLT 311a. The sensor assembly looks much cheaper than I was expecting based on reading some of the ICE forums regarding adding adaptive cruise.. $420 vs like $700 I saw for some of the linked parts.
Thanks, I was mostly confused because I thought the person you were replying to was referring to using 6.5"s in the front and back.
Which compact amps did you go for? I'm thinking I may just start with speaker replacements and see if I am happy with that.
Did you use the similar baffle kit...
Never used the Ford harness plugs before so I messed up the driver's side a bit, including one of the black pieces that holds the wire to the truck for my pro power. I'd suggest if you are like me, do the passenger side first so you know how you should get the dummy plug out easier.
Now on to...
Do you need to leave the wiper stalk in one of the 'active' positions? After the sensor doesn't detect rain for a while, do the wipers get parked (where they go lower than the 'at the ready' position with typical intermittent wiper settings)?
When I learned about the SolARk 15 last year that's what I was thinking of doing myself.
I also have an Enphase system, 12.21 kw on iq7x inverters. Enphase just announced a 2024 launch window for their V2X EVSEs so I may wait and see what they come up with as it does feel a more elegant...
For sure, I implore everyone in this thread worrying about it to hook up an OBD II adapter and monitor the power coming out of the pack (hint: what's your max rated HP converted to kw?), and similarly how much power is generated going into the pack with regenerative braking. Charging at 11.2kw...
We are repeating history with ICE before gas stations became ubiquitous. I agree, it is an issue. Will it improve? I think there's no question that it will.
