So, in the order from the Comma harness that intercepts the IPMA and moving away from that it goes:
-Harness
-360 ohms resistor between a10-a11 on the breakout board with the a-side plugged into the harness
-Long USB
-Plain coupling (no resistor)
-Short USB
-Comma
Asking because this...
You'll get a bunch of errors on startup. Check this thread around page 22 or so. Need to add a resistor to the USB. Production of a "professional" solution is in progress from @UncleTony
Once you get that part done, then can test if the Comma works in the 25. Or you start up, wait for the...
I have it with the fitcamx. I used the stock mount and put it as high as possible which blocked the view of the truck hood plus a little bit of the road that was inconsequential.
I now am using the quick release mount that I purchased from @Ajzride and the Comma sits lower, but works just fine...
This is the orientation where I do not receive the errors. A-side toward the IPMA.
I appreciate your persistence in tracking this down and working through the problems. Thank you!
The Amazon boards and resistors from the parts list. I quoted you above in post 497. That list. I have a board with the pegs that I can move the resistors and I soldered a resistor between a10 and a11 on one of the solder boards. I got the error on the solder board then went back to the peg...
I made a board with the resistor between a10 and a11 and I get the startup errors.
If I put the resistor between b2 and b3, no errors.
Are you sure that it's supposed to be between a10 and a11 or do I have something else happening?
Can you elaborate on exactly which resistors need to come off the breakout board?
I made my own and have more breakouts as well as a package of the 62 and 110 ohm resistors. I can correct my current board or make a new one until the professional ones arrive.
I tried OpenPilot but it is still a work in progress... ping-pongs left and right on my Lightning. You have to use the download of the OpenPilot nightly version, not the stock OpenPilot. Lightning's are still not supported on the stock OpenPilot version.
BluePilot is made for Fords and works as...
I have this two-way (currently available), and a four-way splitter that doesn't seem to be available any longer. Both work great. Not an affiliate for either.
EDIT:
You actually don't need the OBD for the Comma. The OBD power allows the Comma to stay on in standby mode when the vehicle is off...
There's a few 2024's of varying trims, including my Pro, running Comma's.
2025's have encryption and are likely not able to work with the Comma. 2025 Mach-e's are confirmed not to work but I haven't seen someone with a Lightning actually write about if they have tried yet, but the people that...
Same here. No wires were present in my Pro. About halfway through the ACC thread someone figured out that it's easier to just make your own 4 wire harness with one end at the new CCM, and add pins to the to IPMA plug. It sounds bad but was pretty easy.
I added a Comma a little over a month ago...
