Just ordered a '22 Lariat 4WD SuperCrew 5.5'-box. It appears that WeatherTech (quick search on their website, https://www.weathertech.com/side-window-deflectors/) does not have Side Window Deflectors for the '21/'22 F-150. I can't tell if they are simply out of stock, or if they don't yet exist...
You arenāt alone.
Many of us want to know: What's in the Trailer Tow package (53A) that isn't in the Tow Technology package (17T) . . . or did many of us just get ripped off?

Does anyone know:
1. The mirror (the glass) size for the stock mirrors?
2. The top mirror (the glass) size for the tow mirrors?
Given the low inventory, I've yet to see the two mirrors side-by-side on a '21/22 F-150. Is the top tow mirror bigger, same-size, or smaller than the stock mirror?
I appreciate all the thoughts & opinions.
For me: clearly the tow mirrors, being larger, are an impediment to narrow parking spots and mpg(s). Iām having a hard time understanding WHY I would need the tow mirrors given all the advanced technology on my Lariat SCrew PB (BLIS, Pro-Backup, 360...

Iām curious if there is anyone with the opposite point of view...

(1) Standard mirror size, dimming rear + driverās side mirror, with non-dimming passenger side mirror, orā¦
(2) Trailer Tow mirror size, dimming rear + dimming top of driverās side mirror, with non-dimming bottom of driverās size...
Working on an order for a 2022 4WB SCrew Lariat PB F-150. Down to a few minor decisions.
Background.
Lariat comes standard with power-folding, auto-dimming driver's side mirror (unfortunate that the passenger side mirror does not dim, IMO - like seriously Ford, that's where you're trying to...
There are numerous posts already on this forum - all helpful - regarding the collective effort to scrutinize the difference between the 2021 F-150's Tow Technology package (17T) and the 2021 F-150 Trailer Tow package (53A) on trim levels that already include the 7-wire harness and the Class IV...
