Actually for what it can do it is a pretty good value. The issue is that it’s the charger and truck that cause the system not to work. The actual HIS hardware is good. It has a lot of features even if you don’t use the truck.

The sunrun HIS backup equipment (made by Delta) is great. Sunrun themselves suck. Also the truck modem and CSP suck which is why the Delta equipment gets a bad rap.

I think there are many systems working and I am fairly confident all systems are capable of working if the truck is updated past 6.14. I would be glad to remotely help get it working. I was able to get another TX based system working when I visited them in person a couple weeks ago.

If you want the DIY method, you can unplug and replug the cable on the modem directly. This does involve removing the trim behind the rear passenger seat to get to it.
