A final humorous comment on my lemon buy back 2023 Lightning Lariat ER, the dealer had installed a "KARR Security System" Lojack-like car theft tracking device with a 5year subscription. I never sign our or un-register any vehicle telemetry system, the dealer or new owner should be responsible...

Delivery of my Tesla CyberTruck CyberBeast confirmed, this thing is out of this world.
They could definitely change the cell voltage delta (high-low difference) such to allow for the truck to continue to be charged and driven. If they think it is safe to let the tolerance get a little bit further out of balance. This options seems completely plausible.
A BMS (Battery Management...
In addition, unlike the Bolt, I have not heard of any F-150 Lightning going into thermal runaway (catching fire). But yes, in the case of Ford and GM, the Bolt, MachE, and Lightning are nearly first generation products, so some problems are not unreasonable, and we do all hope that they no...

I would bet that in general they do not know that the words cell, module, and battery have very specific meanings and can not be used interchangeably... To get the correct answer you would to need to ask: Q:How Many Batteries A:One and Q:How Many Modules A:9 and Q:How Many...
Yup, replaced one module within about 2 months and then after a week a second module threw an error and was replaced with about 5 months. I have since surrendered the truck per Lemon Repurchase...
Not sure, Mine threw the service now errors before I got the 23B57 update, I believe, and I was still able to drive it at reduced power. But there might be different situations. Probably best to get the update sooner than later. I believe it's more of a case that the update will let it detect...
I'm back to my 2000 Honda Insight, not the one in my avatar photo that I beat the snot out of auto-crossing and road tripping it two decades ago, which has 300k++ miles and needs the original 5-speed transmission rebuilt and swapped back in, as the salvaged replacement somehow was missing the...

Well, it's the end of a chapter for me, Lemon Law surrendered my F150 Lightning today due to 5/15 months out of service & two battery modules replaced. Lifetime efficiency 2.1Mi/kWh at 18824 miles. It was great when it was working.
I watched about a dozen videos about influencers getting and testing out their adapters today. I also reserved mine: "Est. ship by August 2024"!
Someone dropped a link on twitter I think it's this...
That is some great turn around time. Can it happen again? Sure. Mine has Module #6 replaced, worked for a week, and then needed Module #2 replaced... So yes, unfortunately.
TLDR; in November they replaced Module #6 and just now finished replacing Module #2.
2024.02.22 - FordPass 44% SoC @15:24 "updated 7 minutes ago"
* Woot Woot, Maybe it will be fixed soon?!
2024.02.23 - FordPass 100% SoC
* @10:38 FordPass reporting 90% SoC, So it seems to be fixed and they are...
Yes, but that is a lot of raw data to parse. Maybe if I get really board I will try to look through it more carefully and turn into something that can be turned into a chart of some sort.
So, I think this is the most official thread for the 23B57 battery module replacement recall problem?
This https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/powertrain-malfunction-reduced-power.12873 is also a pretty popular one as well that seems tangentially related.
I'm curious if anyone has...
Who is that trying to walk across my bridge!! Hurmmmmph.
Better include a pocket protector as well...
I thought that they were expanding some older V2 sites by adding on V3 dispensers and cabinets? But I suppose I don't follow closely enough to actually know if that is the case, or just the...
