No I just sanded it down wiped it with paint thinner to clean it off and taped off the edges. This was a year ago and I just took a picture and noticed a few spots I need to go over again. It was the lower valance and it blended perfectly ( I think)

I have an XLT that did just that. Sanded it down and used bedliner paint and you cant even tell. My dealer was going to paint it but I didnt want to lose the truck for a week......

I had same thing happen to my lower grill and I'm in Sunny no salt southern California... I just painted it with black bedliner paint and you cant even tell... but the grill is a different story I'd definitely have the dealer replace that.

Yep the wiring is 4 gauge. not a problem there. When I initially installed I was thinking of a 60 amp breaker but downgraded to 30 after. I may just go back and install a 60. Thanks

I have a 23 XLT and my rear camera for the truck bed is intermittent. Of course when I brought it to the dealer it was fine. Every time I have a Home depot load and try to use it , it doesnt work... I will try and call the dealer again and reference this recall.......

So If i change my breaker to a 60 amp (currently a 30amp) will that increase my charging ability with the supplied ford charger? would that be safe? its a 23 XLT

maybe take some electrical tape and just wrap it up so the connections aren't open to the weather?

No I got lazy and just taped off and masked the front. It came out perfect, its a satin so blends right in.

I had same thing and as above stated just sanded it down and painted the whole piece with Black bedliner spray paint. Blended right in. I also didnt want to be without the truck while the dealership touched it up... This was easily 6 months ago and is holding up strong.

yes I taped it off, sanded it and wiped it down with acetone. gave it multiple light coats. It was just the bottom part of the bumper so it blends right in with that Black plastic air dam.

I had much worse on my front bumper. I used Black bed liner paint from Amazon and its a perfect match you cant even tell. The dealer also said they would respray but I didnt want to deal with not having transportation...

I'm a bit confused. i have a SR as well. at 100% charge I think I have like 240 range. Why wouldnt you travel at least 200 miles and then charge? you wouldnt have to stop as much. As a side note I only drive 55 miles round trip to work and charge to 80% with about 60% left over each day...
