  1. Bilstein 6112 Leveling Kit Installed - Specs, Impressions & Photos

They are not bright enough to need adjusting  ! I never did and had no issues, but my setting was only a mild 1" level. Might be a problem with a heavy load and the back squatted. I don't think the headlights level themselves like the old HIDs in cars did.
  2. Texas 2022 Lariat ER $79.4k

PSA - My '22 Lariat ER that I traded in is available at my local dealer (North TX) for less than 80k. It has 10k mi, 80amp charger NIB, bedliner, tow tech, bfg k02, bilstein leveling kit. 2022 Lightning at Stanley Ford
  3. Winter range dropoff

Here in TX even some of the rural 2 lanes are 75mph limit. 4-over is moving briskly ;)
  4. Bilstein 6112 Leveling Kit Installed - Specs, Impressions & Photos

Just saw this, the ride and handling are still very good, not harsh, but no more floaty and soggy feeling. This is how the truck should come from the factory. I think you could get close to the same results with just the bilstein 5100 shock replacement, but I liked having springs tuned for the...
  5. Airdam malfunction

My truck started doing this last week, 2-3 times now around 55mph. I won't be able to get it to the dealer for a couple of weeks. I tried to wiggle the airdam to jar it loose, but it did not help.
  6. “Real Range”

Sounds in line with what I see on my Lariat ER at those speeds.
  7. Eibach R&D for Lightning lowering kit, leveling kit and lift kit -- submit your input

A couple of points after leveling my front with bilsteins ICE f150 kit. The floaty ride comes mainly from the front shocks weak damping. Replacing those can cure it, without adding any harshness, eibach can fix that. Lowering the rear, the rear suspension semi trailing arm design has limited...
  8. Brake Lights with 1-Pedal

Strange on the Mach E ACC. ACC on my superduty activates the brake lights (I can see the reflection on the trailer)
  9. Range Impact of Aftermarket Off-Road Wheels and Tires on the Ford F-150 Lightning [Motortrend]

I get a bit better on ours, stock size BFG KO2 on stock Lariat wheels, small 1" level (bilstein 6112). Range loss is around 5%, efficiency while driving drops by 0.1 most of the time. The most telling is the projected range each morning after charging to 90% - after a couple of weeks it has...
  10. Bilstein 6112 Leveling Kit Installed - Specs, Impressions & Photos

Good to see the ICE spring charts also. Actually the spring on my truck, (Lariat ER) was .75 wire diameter, about 16".5" free length. Seems like its the same springs as platinums because of the big battery and many of the same options like the moonroof. I was worried about the bilsteins...
  11. ATLAS BLUE F-150 Lightning Photos & Club

After reading good reviews on the ICE forums, I decided to try this kit to get more control over the floaty, bouncy front ride. It works great, still a good ride, but flatter, and without the float. Seems to match the motions of the rear suspension pretty well now. Height increase was not as...
  12. Bilstein 6112 Leveling Kit Installed - Specs, Impressions & Photos

After reading good reviews on the ICE forums, I decided to try this kit to get more control over the floaty, bouncy front ride. It works great, still a good ride, but flatter, and without the float. Seems to match the motions of the rear suspension pretty well now. Height increase was not as...
  13. Lightning suspension comparison to current F-150?

The Fox coilover has height adjustment also. Both replace the factory spring with a stiffer unit, and increase the damping/shock control. They also make shocks without the springs, that have height adjustment, re-using the stock springs. That may be enough to solve the buick float on some roads.
  14. Lightning suspension comparison to current F-150?

Interesting that the platinum gets stiffer springs, is it really that much heavier than a Lariat ER? I am actually planning to stiffen the front springs and shocks on mine, with bilstein 6112 coilovers that come with stiffer springs and ride height adjustment. Made for ICE F150's but we know...
  15. 2022 Lightning AC performance = doing very well

Also in Texas here, and the AC does the job, even in this 100+ heat, and sitting outside. The fans are very loud, also had them kick on while charging overnight in our hot garage. Woke me up, wondering what was running in the house. It only lasted for about 30min, but the charging and outside...
  16. Another Lightning lifted on 2" level kit and 34" tires - by Rough Country

That combo looks good to me. The +18 offset would help reduce the chance of rubbing and trimming. The other truck posted recently had +0 offset wheels, about 3/4" more poke to cause clearance problems.
  17. Were we supposed to receive a yaw rate sensor or a stickers for vehicles equipped with Pro Trailer Backup Assist?

Only got stickers. I noticed the Lightning did not have the secondary trailer connector for trailer tpms, yaw rate sensor etc. like my superduty.
  18. Dynamic blending headlamps are impressive

The dynamic headlights function well, but my '22 superduty fixed led lights are brighter and have more range on our dark country roads.
  19. What percentage should I charge my battery to daily using the Ford Charge Station Pro?

Based on the Ford support link above, I've had ours set to 90% charge overnight. In my wife's normal driving that starts her day with around 250mi of range on a Lariat ER. She uses around 25-30% most days, and it takes around 3-4hrs to charge overnight @48A.
