I went to the dealership this AM to get a trade in amount for my 21 F150 Lariat PowerBoost, and while I was there I asked the status of my Lightning.

So he checked, and according to him and the status, it’s off site sitting in a parking lot somewhere. He says it could be a chip hold too, but nothing on that sites says as much. I doubt that though since all the modules popped and a tear tag has been produced.

He also said that it could be shipped already, since Fords tracking is so bad. One thing we can both agree upon though is that it’s out of Ground Effects for the bed liner.

A couple of days ago I was originally told “off site” when it was sent to the “Bed Liner Shop”….followed by a “Chip Hold” notification. Today, I’m back “on-site“ at REVC at the “Body Company“…no holds or delays. Are you getting a bed liner installed?

Yes, but according to the notes it came back from Ground Effects already and now just parked offsite of REVC. I have a tear tag already, and awaiting someone to activate Ford Pass so I can easily track it.

Air Force or some other branch? None of the civilians I work with understand the term 'no joy', and have a puzzled look when I say 'Tally'.

Just know you are starting the clock on a timed subscription if someone activates you...don't want to hear you cry about it like another forum member who blames Ford for the activation

Nope, grew up with it…never had the honor to serve...choose the fire service. My dad was RA 34 yrs going back to WW II….
