2022 F150 Lightning Salvage

My 2022 F150 Lightning was severely damaged on the left side after the shipping company lost control and flipped the truck and trailer on its side. It dragged across the concrete while still attached to the trailer. Anyways, the shipping company gave me $72k for the truck and I paid it off. The don't want the truck though, and they aren't an insurance company so it has a clear title as well. I have an offer for $28,500 so far in the web companies I have contacted, but I was seeing if anyone on here wants to buy the truck from me or knows someone who would like to get one to use as a side project or use it for parts. The battery still works as it did before the accident, there are a few sensors that have faults currently, but the truck still runs. It does have a flat tire, but I plan on putting the spare on. The left side is severely scraped up and has holes in it as well from being dragged across the highway. The left side mirror, door handles, and running board were taken off my the accident.

It appears from the tailgate lettering and the seat wear that this not a New vehicle. Is that correct? How many miles on it if used?

It is a 2022 year model. I took a picture of the driver information screen to show it still runs and it has 23,775 miles on it.

It is totally my plan to take the $28,500 offer. I might even offer the same to someone who might want it for whatever reason. I wasn't trying to make a ton of money, I was mostly putting it up to see if someone was interested.

@rlbussard - Hate to see the truck like this and I know you are too, it was quite the ordeal getting it. However, sounds like you are going to be in sweet territory with the payoff and salvage sale. Now go get one at a great discounted price and you'll be better off than you were. That doesn't happen to many people.

If the frame and crumple zones are unaffected (and they very well might be as it sounds like there was little high force impact), a body shop might be able to restore this and make a penny or two on the turnaround. It will have an accident history, but this will still be a path for someone who wants a Lariat under say, 40-45k.... Still, I would personally take the in-hand offer. It may not be worth your time to deal with the logistics of trying to do better.

I am for sure going to buy another Ford EV truck in 2025. We bought a 2023 F150 Hybrid Powerboost that was supposed to be for my wife she didn't want her 2023 Mach E because she was concerned about the snow when we moved from TX to Maine. After we received the payment for the Lightning payoff she decided she wanted a Toyota Crown car instead. So I will probably just keep the F150 until the 2025 redesign happens now.

That is the current plan, but if other options come out then I will entertain those as well. It doesn't make much sense to trade in my wife's F150 that is only 2 months old.

Is the Mach-E rear wheel drive? Our AWD Premium ER is great in the snow.

It was not. It was a 2023 Mach E GT Performance. I tried to tell her they do well in the snow, but she was much too worried about to believe me. So we traded it in unfortunately.
