Just saw a review of the 2022 Bronco Raptor on TFL Talk. The new Bronco Raptor still has the temperature display on the HVAC control knobs. Not sure if this is a pre-production model or not. I haven't been able to find any reviews of the 2022 regular full-size Bronco for comparison. So it might be only available on the Raptor version.
if so a chip shortage may not be the reason the F-150 has lost this feature for 2022. It's also possible that since they'll make comparatively few Bronco Raptors compared to F-150s, but they can only get some chips and they decided to use them on the Bronco Raptor . Would really like to know the actual reason Ford removed this feature.

Is there a way to remove the HVAC temp readouts from the SYNC screen after replacing the HVAC knob assembly with digital readout ?

Look at 7D0-02-02-*xxx-xxxx-xxxx

the spreadsheet has Status bar temperature enable/disable on that line. see what you have there currently.

I was perusing the interwebs in an effort to bring you guys the most breaking and cutting-edge Gen14F150 information and my eye caught this possible difference while looking at a 2022 F-150 Tremor that was for sale.

Ford's "DEATC" (Dual Electronic Temperature Control) appears to have been modified for 2022 F-150s.

For the 2021 model year, trucks with the dual zone climate control had two knobs with a small screen that gave you the exact temperature degree reading of each zone. For 2022 it looks like this was done away with for some reason.

Bear in mind, the 2022 truck may not have been turned on, but the big power button in the middle seems to suggest the layout for the 2022 model will be slightly different. Maybe the red/blue adjusts around the knob as the user sets the temperature? Is it some other cool new feature, or simply a cost cutting measure because the little screens were too expensive?

If any of you guys who have your 2022 F-150s with the DEATC can chime in and adivse, let us know!

It appears that several electrical appointments were chaged from 21 to 22. I wonder when we will see information on jailbreaking those features back into the F150. I suspect that some of these extras deletes are available at the point of delivery save for the actual lighting output device. E>G. the wiring connecter is there, just not the light.

So I tried to get wiring diagrams for either the 21 or 22 from Helm with no success. Seem ford is holding out till the end of 22 to provide? Was going to see if the 22 deletes were just a matter of not providing the device psst its electrical socket. If so, just buying the parts would likely be the toughest part of having many of those deletes restored. The temp knobs may be a little tougher. May require panel removal and replacing the whole control.

if you’re talking about the missing lights here’s what’s been found….

cup holder plug is gone, there’s a guy that makes a harness to put it back

media bin light, there’s a 22 platinum that the connector was present, and a 22 king ranch that it wasn’t present on there’s a guy that makes a harness for that also

glove box light not a single truck has had this connection it can be added to the same harness that a guy makes for the media bin light

climate control missing digital readout, can be restored if you get a climate control head from a 21 that has all your features it’s been done and confirmed working on multiple trucks.

Looks muuuch better! Thanks for the info!
Did this work immediately for you or was there any delay before the temps disappeared?

I also had a 4 for MAC Disabled • SBT Off • DFC Disabled • CAS Disabled which I replaced with a 0, but so far temps are still showing.

I didn't disconnect the battery but might try that if no change after a couple drive/ignition cycles.

Go under the wrench icon in forscan and perform an APIM reset it will take care of it instantly.
