So I have just over 7K miles on my truck. I got a screw just on the border of tread and sidewall. Dealership said I can replace just the one tire, tread is still great on the rest. Will be almost no difference I'm told.

It has been two days and they can not get me a tire I guess? I searched online and I thought I saw that this particular tire is 'discontinued' so maybe that is the issue.

Does anyone know of a replacement I can get just for the one rear tire that will match exact size? Or if that isn't possible, can I just change out the two back tires (keep them on the same axle)? And if so, what tire would be equivalent to what I have now.

Dealership has my rim and unfortunately isn't returning calls well. I had to drive 30 minutes yesterday to get someone to talk to me. I'm planning on just picking the rim up and going somewhere else. But want to call ahead and make sure they have what I need.

I do not believe so. Looked like a smaller rim honestly.

They were able to get one. It's on. Said it should wear in with the rest no problem... So hopefully it drives good on the sores way on my way to work tomorrow! Felt ok driving home.

So the new tire has about 7200 miles less then the other 3.

I have 1 tire with about 10k miles on it and the other 3 with 60k. You'll be fine.

Lightning has a dissimilar spare. 18" wheel and tire with roughly the same OD.

I got two nails in my rear tire at 20000 miles and they couldn’t patch both of them to hold air. Les Schwab told me I was on the edge for what they would recommend putting a whole new set on. So I just replaced it and have put nearly 10,000 miles on it no issue that I can tell. I thought about putting my spare tire on the wheel, but it was an 18” wheel/tire. Surprising they put a pretty nice alloy wheel on the full size spare, just an 18 inches. I did run it for 2 days while they got the new tire and it wasn’t noticeable.
