2025 Platinum Dark Elements Package - No Headrest Speakers?

Hello F-150 Lightning Forum!

I purchased a new 2025 Platinum Dark Elements Package back in May 2026. I then went on a ~month long travel stint for work and personal travel, so I haven't had much time to drive or even be in the truck. When I got home this past weekend, I noticed that my truck does NOT have the headrest speakers that should be included with the Platinum trim. See below pics that I just took from my truck.

Does the Dark Elements package not include the headrest speakers?

For those not in the know, the Dark Elements package includes Black Premium Nirvana Leather Seats and Black Headrests, so the Dark Elements seats and headrests are not the same part numbers as the "base" Lightning Platinum trim. That being said, the Dark Elements press release package from Ford clearly shows the Black headrests with the speakers (which are likely pulled from the ICD F-150 Platinum). I included the pic from the release below but if you go to the link and zoom in on the image, the perforated holes for the speakers are clearly visible in the Press Release.

I'm hoping others with the Dark Elements package might be able to chime in. Or somebody familiar with how to verify that the speakers should/should-not be included via the Window Sticker or VIN decoding (or via other means).

Those were removed starting in 24 on ALL F150 including ICE trucks.

I had the headrest speakers on my 2021 Lariat. If it means anything to you, you're not missing out on much. I could only hear anything out of that speaker by turning my head and pressing my ear to it. And even then it was soft and faint. The headliner speakers were worthless too. The only thing that made the "Unleashed" system worth it was a true subwoofer.

I have the 2025 Dark Element package and no speakers are present in the headrest.
