Last night I achieved the below result just as I pulled back into the driveway. I actually lost acceleration while at a stop with 5% remaining (it happened when I got a notice that my ProPower cut off) 5 miles from my house. I turned off the truck and back on then it limped home. Charged to 85% last night and no issues today.

From my (probably bad) memory, the issue with people going flat when under 10% was from DC fast charging on a long trip. Internally there was something messed up and the calculation or what it showed you was incorrect. So if you're charging at home, there isn't an issue with going under 10%. But if you travel and are on your 4th or 5th DC fast charge, you probably don't want to go below 10%.
yeah OutOfSpec ran out twice with the same truck on different long distance trips (~2400 and 1k miles). Believe Ford came back saying that the battery didn't have time to balance due to the constant charging-discharging so the BMS got confused. Sounds like leaving it for even a couple hours would be beneficial. Granted I doubt most let it get below 5% or would even do that distance in one go without staying somewhere overnight.

Yes

Simply that I did not experiance any unusual behavior below 10%.

Calibration is part of the reason for doing this. After driving it down I charged to 100% since I was driving a bit more the next day. Unfortunately I was unable to let it rest between finishing the drive and starting the charge to 100%.

In general I would have felt comfortable driving more miles as well.
The key is consecutive DCFC sessions. The more sessions, the more off the SOC/GOM was.

I personally found that my first leg was accurate. The second leg after a DCFC was off by about 3-5%, and each subsequent leg about the same error. At one point I kept myself from going below 15% SoC.

It sounds scary, but we’re talking 3-4 DCFCs in addition to the initial charge. Not many folks are driving 600-800miles in one shot like I was..
