Battery Overheat During DC Fast Charging

Plot thickens…Just off the phone with BEV and they provided me a transcript of the interaction with the Dealer.
It appears what the Dealer’s Service Advisor has told me is false. I have placed a call for the Dealer Service Director to call me. Unfortunately, I am out of town on business until Friday PM and will not be able to pick up my truck until then.
I hate integrity checking someone, but in this instance, it’s indisputable.

…on a separate note, I love how passionate this group is in calling out the bs that I’m dealing with. Thank you!

I've fast charged 5 times in a 26 hr period multiple times. By the 4th charge, I've had my battery temp go 1/4 up from the mid-line. It will cool off over 20 mins during the drive. Ambient temps 40F-105F. I have never seen orange on the battery temp.

I always have HVAC climate control on because of a pet and keeping myself comfortable. It is reliable. I rely on the climate control running while fast charging.

The Lightning isn't a SilveradoEV. GM EVs have that issue where they limit A/C to prioritize battery cooling.

edit: i also had the coolant below Min level for a trip or two before i noticed. even then it didnt hit orange.
