The oem wheels fit that spec at +44mm. The closer you get to 0, the more poke you get.

If you go with a 9" wheel, the wheel will stick out about 6mm further outboard (and inboard) with the same offset as the factory wheel, which is 8.5" and the tire would be in the same location. It is, however, unlikely you'll find a 9" wheel with 44mm offset.

Figure out how much more outboard you want the wheel from the factory stance in mm, and calculate 1/2 of the difference in wheel width in mm (eg: 8.5"-->9" is 1/2" difference so 1/4" more outboard or about 6.25mm) and subtract that from your first number to give you the difference in offset from factory. Take that number and subtract it from the factory offset of +44 and that should be your perfect offset.

Essentially, a 9" wheel with a +30mm offset will be about 20mm outboard of the factory wheel(14mm from the offset +6mm for the wider wheel) . If you stick with 275-width tires, the tire tread will be about 14mm outboard of the factory setup. +18mm offset will give you a bit of a poke past the fender. Your tire selection will add to this. 295 tires will add 10mm outboard (and 10mm inboard). 305 tires will add 15mm.

Yep it's true what they said above ^^^. And just to confirm, I put 1.5" wheel spacers on my truck with factory wheels and factory tires and all 4 tires stuck out past the wheel arches. This would be the equivalent of a +8 offset, and it makes everything stick out like a skateboard. So I ended up removing the spacers.

If buying aftermarket wheels, I would stay at +24 to +40 offset.
