I think he just prefers to observe traffic directly instead of in video game mode?Sounds like you don’t understand the extent of this proposal.
I’m so confused. Are we in the F150 Lightning forum still?I just don't understand the obsession with screens and avatars and OTA updates. It's all just bizarre to me. Then again, I stick my phone in the center console as I enter the vehicle, and don't touch it until I'm done driving. I also hate touching screens. Physical buttons are cool, especially when they are arranged in a logical manner and some even have protrusions or texture so you can tell by feel alone which button you're touching. I recently sold an old BMW that had about 100 buttons in the center stack alone. It was awesome. After about three months of driving that car I could adjust just about everything without taking my eyes off the road. Many folks these days seem to love their phone more than life itself.
I think the driver already has enough confidence if they're constantly looking at the screen instead of the road. When you use BlueCruise it needs to give more confidence to the driver. That is what the avatars would do.
It's not about whether the driver is paying attention and has confidence in seeing the vehicles around. It's about a way to understand what the vehicle's sensors are sensing. It's about raising confidence in the system itself.I think the driver already has enough confidence if they're constantly looking at the screen instead of the road.
You are confused about OTA’s? Why is it confusing wanting your vehicle to progress and get better after purchase? :|I just don't understand the obsession with screens and avatars and OTA updates.
