I haven’t seen such discounts BUT if you subscribe by month and cancel before the month is over, you’ll get a refund of the days not used.

For instance, last month I had to make a 700 mile single day trip, so I subscribed on a Thursday (IIRC), drove on Sunday, and cancelled on Monday. I was charged $54 initially (yea sales tax), then saw a $43.67 refund on my card a week later. Makes using it for a day or two, very worth it for long journeys.

Still have over 2 years left on my blue cruise trial and went the comma route. Nice not getting the steering wheel nag from regular lane centering on non-bc roads.

Why would anyone voluntarily pay to have their mother-in-law nag them to "pay attention to the road sonny!!"? Comma is a good option... So is a truck from a different manufacturer that does designed their system to be less naggy. Vote with your wallet!

This is correct. The only difference between blue cruise and not blue cruise is the warnings to keep your hands on the wheel / need to provide steering input.
Erroneous information, regular cruise control is just that it holds your speed for you, blue cruise actually steers the vehicle for you, makes lane changes and steers around bends in the hwy.

I forgot about the lane changes and you're correct that you lose that feature without a subscription. But lane centering + adaptive cruise control, both of which are available on cars with blue cruise but do not require a subscription, does what you're describing. They will steer the vehicle for you, including around bends in the highway, and adjust your speed based on the presence or absence of vehicles in front of you. They just require some steering input every x period to show you're in control.
