Can anyone answer the following questions: Does this used 2024 Lightning Platinum (VIN: 1FT6W7L73RWG*****) have an existing Bluecruise subscription (3 years?). If so, is it transferrable to the new owner (....hopefully Me!)? How do I go about finding out his information before buying it?

Any help or suggestions as to how I can obtain this information is gratefully appreciated.

For 2024, Platinum came with 90-days standard but there was an option for 3-year. Do you have the window sticker? It will be on there.

For 2024, Platinum came with 90-days standard but there was an option for 3-year. Do you have the window sticker? It will be on there.

Yes and yes. I am aware of the 90-days standard bBluecruise option which does show on the window sticker.

However, I am asking if the 3 year Bluecruise option (a $2,100 option) in 2024 was purchased after the 90 day trial expired, which I believe stays with the vehicle.

Specifically, how do I find out this information? That is why I posted the VIN thinking that someone on the forum may be able to look up this information and report back to me before I pull the trigger and buy this Lightning Platinum.

I believe you would have to contact Ford to find out that information as it would be a separate subscription from the original 90 day?

Are you unable to test drive it? If it shows active then you're good. According to this page (FAQ #6) BC is non-transferable to a new vehicle - it is vehicle specific. Sounds like it stays with the vehicle. Previous owner - if he purchased it - could not transfer.

You could also ask the salesman :cwl: :crackup::crackup:

I own a 2024 Platinum that had the 3yr BC listed on the Window Sticker. There was a $615 Rebate if it was included on the Sticker so the net cost was $1,485

If it wasn't included on the Sticker there were several options at the time. You could either subscribe monthly or yearly.

Call Ford Customer Service and ask them if there isa subscription on the VIN number.

I'm not able to test drive it as it is from a dealer out in Utah and I live at the beach in southern Delaware. The salesman in Utah is just going off of the window sticker which just shows a 90 day BC trial. As was suggested previously, I'll try calling Ford Customer Service and see if they can look it up by the VIN as the 3 year Bluecruise subscription, if purchased by the previous owner, stays with the (2024 Used) Lightning Platinum vehicle.
