Got the blind-spot sensor inoperative warning
Discovered a hairline crack in the turn-signal housing and water in the housing
Dried the housing and repaired the tiny crack with clear epoxy
Still got the alarm
Disconnected the sensor and found water in the connector, dried it, cleaned it with contact cleaner, and applied silicone dielectric
Still got the alarm
Disconnected the 12V battery for 10 min.
Still get the alarm
Could there be water trapped in the sensor itself?
Can the clear cover be pried off the sensor without breaking anything?
Any other suggestions?
