I own a 2023 Lightning XLT which has a NON-AMPLIFIED 6 speaker system. I am planning to add an Amp and install Alpine R2 speakers which are 100 Watts RMS each. I want to keep factory radio and use the PAC LPHFD31 LocPro Advanced T-Harness to connect the amplifier outputs back to factory wiring. I am not sure if the factory speaker wires can handle 100-125 watts RMS.
I am pretty lot of people in this group have already installed an after market amp to power their speakers (B&O or Non-B&O), so appreciate your recommendations/help on this topic.
If you have run speaker wires from Amp to door speakers directly, can you share how you did it without affecting the factory warranty.
