Center armrest doesn’t stay up

Not sure if this is actually an issue or not, but I was surprised how “floppy” the center armrest is when open. As in, once open there is basically no resistance to it closing and it slams down aggressively on the smallest nudge.

That is a little too floppy. I just went out and opened mine in my Lightning and my 2019 F150. Both will stay up in half open position.
Not much resistance, but a lot more than yours

Thanks for checking, I had a feeling.

I wonder if this is something I can tighten myself or if I need my dealer to do it.

Thanks! I have to admit that sticking coins in my brand new truck feels wrong, but I'm happy to see that there is a workaround. I'm going to see if my dealer can do anything about it.
