My latching pin broke off when backing out of the garage (I don't recall getting any sort of warning or chime, but whatever), and I ordered the BMW part mentioned in that thread.

10 minutes and $15 later, I had it fixed.

I have a 2023 Lightning Lariat and from day one the charge port lid/door has been very finicky. The locking pin doesn't seem to be 1oo% aligned with the mating hole. It has come open a few times while driving. I'm afraid one of these days, the locking pin will snap if I pushed the door too hard. Any suggestions?
