Co-Pilot 360 Active Options - What am I missing here?

I don't know if I'm just being an idiot or still have jetlag from my honeymoon but I want to make sure I do my build order correctly, any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. LOL

So I want the items from the Tow Tech Package, Max Trailer Package and also want the Co-Pilot360 Active with BlueCruise on my SR Lariat build.

I add the tow & max trailer package...

Then comes the decision on what option to pick for the Co-Pilot 360 active...it looks like the one I should choose is the "Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 with Tow Technology Package"

What doesn't make sense is that if you choose just the "Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0" it will remove the "Tow Technology Package" and cost $825 MORE. How does that make any sense? Why is this even an option?

Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 with Tow Technology Package Includes:

So the $825 Difference is for Phone as a Key.

But I don't know why they remove the tow tech package when adding the Active 2.0 - Sorry.

Nobody knows why. There is probably something wrong with the online configurator. The Tow Tech Package and Active 2.0 are separate options with no bundle in the order guide. They are also priced separately in the price list.

If you're trying to configure your build with both those options, I highly recommend you place your order at the dealer. Or at the very least, have your options double checked before your dealer submits it.

Please keep us in the loop. I'm reaching out to my dealer as well to confirm. Blue Cruise is the feature I care about most since I drive from San Diego to LA quite frequently. Blue Cruise is a life saver doing that drive. I noticed the same issue when configuring. My order build page does say under Interior - "Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 - Lariat" and under Packages it says "Tow Technology Package". So it sounds like I have both? And that seems unusual they would remove the phone as a key from the package because you got the tow package?

No idea. I hope someone on here can confirm. When building the Lariat, if you choose the Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 package by itself, in the description, phone as a key is listed. If you choose the Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 with Tow Package, phone as a key is no longer listed some reason. I hope that's just a typo. My dealer is supposed to get back to me later today and hopefully can confirm.

There's an option for active 2.0 with tow tech so that's why it takes away tow tech. Not sure it was like that when I ordered last week because I thought I was getting active 2.

Did you order the Extended Rage Lariat? Active 2.0 is included. It's an option on Standard Range.

The way I read it is if you have the Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 it includes BlueCruise, Active Park Assist 2.0 and Phone as a key.

FWIW - My build with SR battery and 510a package says Co-Pilot360 "Active", which I assumed to mean it will come with BlueCruise...I assume?

Here is what my order confirmation shows....I selected the "Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 with Tow Technology Package" option and didn't select the option that costs $825 more.

It shows I should have Co-Pilot360 ACTIVE 2.0

I texted my sales rep at the local dealership and he is going to confirm, we have an appointment on Monday morn to review everything.

You do. As soon as they release that feature on an unsuspecting world. Right now it's on hold, but apparently coming in a future software update for the Lightning.

Unlike the Mach-E which does have PAAK now, you will get two key fobs for your truck. Mach-E owners in the US (Canada as well maybe?) only get one key fob at delivery (unless something's changed since I got mine) and must rely on PAAK as their second key if they choose to do that.

European Union MME owners recently received notice that they are to proceed to their dealers to receive their second key fob without charge. I'm guessing the EU wasn't impressed with PAAK reliability.

I personally bought another key fob prior to taking delivery of my MME and had it programmed before driving off. I am not impressed by PAAK and likely will never use it on the Lightning.

But that's just an opinion.
