Dealer in non ZEV state with over 700 reservations told me they were allocated 6 trucks in 2022 and were told to expect fewer than 12 for 2023

Similar story here in Texas. My dealer has something around 300+ reservations, but was only allocated 2 for 2022 and another 2 for 2023.

The disconnect between demand and actual production is baffling to me.

I would just think they would easily be able to fulfill 1/4 of reservations by the end of next year. I wouldn't think that would be hard at all. And so for the general idea to be that they will only fulfill between 1 and 5% of reservations into orders is crazy to me. Hopefully it turns out to be wrong.

Realistically how many reservations are in Zev states? If Ford ramps too 80,000 in 23 there's should be 40-50k going to consumers (assuming Ford puts a lot to commercial sales) that means 25% of reservations delivered. No way Ford loads the zevs states that much.
