Love the Raptor grill. I really want to get rid of my light bar. I’d prefer to go low profile, especially in the rural parts of Oregon.
I had debated putting a curved off-road lightbar in place of the "light bar" instead. Something like the RC Black series should match the curve of the hood and give something in that space that is functional.

To be honest I'm not sure which i wanted more, the Raptor grill or the Lightbar, either way it was easier to do both at the same time.

Fabbed up a camera mount at the same time. Carbon Fiber ASA

Once I get more magnets the pockets in the grill will be filled (and customizable)

Nice setup. Did that LED bar require any coding with ForScan? I need to disable those white LEDs altogether.

Yes, adding the lightbar did require forscan. Not necessarily coding, but you do have to change the firmware in the headlight module.

This is beyond my expertise and abilities, but thank you for the information. (y)

Im pretty happy with the design but have considered a few minor tweaks.
What did you come up with? Of the solutions for camera mounting on this replacement "grille" yours certainly looks the most advanced. I just pulled the trigger on the grille from eBay - I figure with the cancellation announcement we won't see a camera-friendly option show up anytime soon. Do you have the CAD up for download/sale someplace? I'd love to tinker a bit myself...

The biggest issue is have is that it mounts from the back, so the cut is visible. With a bit of tweaks it could be front mounted to cover the cut itself, it would also fill the hexes completely, making it look more complete.

It could simply be glued in, or a rear bracket could be made.

I can put the cad up here soon.

That would be great, thanks! I'm contemplating some design ideas of my own but I'm pretty bad at modeling. I'll see what I come up with in the meantime. I should probably start by taking it apart to see what I'm working with.

Nice job - would appreciate the stl file as well! An extented version covering 2 hexagons completely as front insert would be perfect!
Pleace also share a picture of the completed grille with all inserts - I am excited to see the final result.
