Perhaps your neighbor is confusing what the truck can do today, vs. Borla's announced feature that was supposed to launch last Fall and still hasn't?

Expected cost is the same as their exhaust systems, i.e. close to $2K. I offered to install it on the Mach-E and Lightning if they gave it to me for free to demo.
