As I was departing my plane and making the trek to my Lightning, I tried to remote start the A/C. I'm in Las Vegas, so you know how important that is this time of year.

Well it would seem that Ford has forced a EULA Rufy upon me. 100 pages of text, that surely include recision of any rights that I might have had, agreement to giving my information away to anyone that wants it, etc etc. And of course, NO DECLINE BUTTON. WTF, Ford? Changing the terms of the sale on something I already own?

Sooner or later, Congress is going to need to handle this. Paging Thomas Massie?!

The terms of the sale haven't changed. The EULA is for the App, which you agreed to last time you installed it on your phone too. Not sure how it was ok then but not now?

If there was a decline button, that decline button would then uninstall the app from your phone. So I'm not sure what you think could be benefiting from a decline button? The license agreement is not an optional thing that you can choose to decline and then still use the app.

No doubt the EULA has changed in a way that is not in our favor and sells your data even more.

Google. Ford let Google in. Google doing the same thing to Ford it has done to everyone else that allowed it in.
Got a fitbit account? I do, for the past year or so I can not log into fitbit without first agreeing to terms with Google. I deleted the fit bit app.

I just removed the app from my phone without accepting anything. I removed the fuse for the TCU too and will also unplug it over the weekend. Sorry Ford but your (Total Lack of) Privacy Policy is ridiculous. Now I only need to pay attention to the truck when I drive it so it's win for me.
